CHA 106 v. 104 BKN

Terry Rozier poster on KD

Yea, you read that right. The Hornets were straight up hooping last night. Even though KD and Kyrie combined to 54 PTS on efficient shooting the Hornets killed them in the paint and played with no fear.

All 5 starters on the Hornets scored in double digits lead by Hayward who scored 28 PTS on 12–20 shooting from the field. The key to this game was playing with no fear the young Hornets were not scared of the moment they went shot for shot and challenged KD to win the game which he could not do in the end.

IND 108 v. 107 BOS

Sabonis game winner

Sabonis made a layup in the clutch with 8.4 seconds remaining to win the game as Tatum missed the shot on the other end. Once again 4 of the 5 starters on the Pacers scored in double figures with McDermott providing 16 pts off the bench.

Jaylen Brown was arguably the Celtics best player on the floor with 18 PTS on 8–13 shooting but they always iso Tatum in end of the game situations without running any plays as a team.

GSW 129 v. 128 CHI

Damion Lee after the game winner

Even though 4 of the 5 starters on the Bulls scored more than 20 PTS the Warriors managed to win behind a Damion Lee game winner with the clock running down and sunk the hears of Bulls fans.

The Warriors are not making the playoffs this year .The Warriors barely beat the Bulls team which lost by around 20 PTS in both their starting games. There is no chance that this team makes the playoffs in the hotly contested western conference.

NO 98 v. 95 SA

Bledsoe blocks Derozans attemp at a game winning 3

Bledsoe blocked a 3 from Derozan with the clock running down to help the Pelicans hold on to their 3 PT lead and hand the Spurs their first loss this season. Both these teams had strong defensive games but the Pelicans prevailed behind Ingrams 28 PTS in the end.

ORL 120 v. 113 WSH

Magic go up 3–0 this season

This is a tale of two starkly different starts as the Magic go to 3–0 this season and Wizards fall to 0–3. The Magic made an astounding 37 of their 38 free throws compared the Wizards 11 of 13 which was clearly the difference maker in this game.

Fultz is slowly reviving his career as he lead the Magic to another win scoring 26 PTS with help from Terrence Ross off the bench who also scored 26. Westbrook was load managing last night as it was a back to back game. Bradley Beal is averaging 35 PTS a game in the Wizards 3 losses.

NY 130 v. 110 MIL

Great night for the NY vets as they take down the Bucks

In the most surprising upset last night (which is saying lot) the Knicks yea you read that right the KNICKS blew out the Bucks as they attempted11 lesser 3s than the Bucks but made 9 more.

The Knicks were a scorching 54% from the floor and 59.3% from 3 compared to the Bucks who shot 18% from 3. Peyton and Randle combined for 56 PTS in last nights victory.

CLE 118 v. 94 PHI

Cavs basketball

Once again Cavs basketball is fun to watch! The Cavs took full advantage of Embiid being out due to back stiffness by clearly out shooting and out playing Philly. Mcgee was hitting 3s!

Drummond dropped 24 PTS with 14 rebounds and was helped the duo of Sexton and Garland who scored 22 and 14 respectively to blowout Philly.

PHX 116 v. 100 SAC

The red hot duo who helped the Suns take down the Kings.

The Suns tie the series with the Kings at 1–1 as Bridges scored 22 PTS on 9–15 shooting followed by Cam Johnsons 21 PTS off the bench. Haliburton showed good sings on the Kings last night as he scored 15 PTS on 5–7 shooting while everyone else was struggling.

LAL 127 v. 91 MIN

With AD Kuz started for the Lakers

With KAT out due to a dislocated wrist and AD out with a calf contusion Kuzma yea that’s right Kyle Kuzma lead the Lakers scoring 20 PTS on 8–12 shooting and ran the Timberwolves out of the gym. The main reason for the Timberwolves loss was that they shot wait for it 17% from 3 for reference this was 5% better than the Clippers yesterday.

DAL 123 v. 73 LAC

Record breaking half time score.

Clippers broke an NBA record as they were down by 50 at half. They shot 12.1% YES you read that right 12.1% from 3 compared to the Mavs 34%. What else can I say? sure Kawhi didn’t play but losing by 50 to a Mavs team without Porzingis is just not acceptable for any team in the league.
